Dear Sir/madam
Good afternoon.   I am a faculty of mathematics.  Let me ask a question regarding import and export the questions of mathematics.
When we tried to import the one-semester course to another semester course of mathematics (same syllabus or subject) we faced problems such as missing the mathematical symbols, subscriptions and superscriptions like that, then we have to check all the questions whether carried or not.  As a teacher, we are ready to do that but it kills a lot of time and energy consumption.  Is there any other way to rectify this kind of problems.

We recommend that you follow all the steps described in https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/Import_course_data for importing the course? Check the tip about HTML format under "Examples and tips" section.

If you are facing this problem in your quiz questions, you may want to export all questions from your question bank in XML format and then import them back in your new course; again using XML format. This should take care of the missing symbols etc in quizzes.

We will be doing a tutorial on course import in the next Moodle series which will cover all these topics in detail.
