Hi,

I am unable to open ngspice. I have made .cir.ckt and .cir.out and prompt window says "T<span style="line-height: 1.428571429;">he application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is in</span><span style="line-height: 1.428571429;">correct. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.e</span><span style="line-height: 1.428571429;">xe tool for more detail." I tried it but I don't get it</span>

Answers:

Please do the following:
1. Open the cmd prompt and type ngspice. Post the message on the terminal here.
2. Go to C:\OSCAD\Spice\bin. Double click on ngspice.exe. Let us know what message is displayed/what window gets opened up
3. Check if the PATH of ngspice is given correctly in environment variable
