Question
We are given the value of k, but you put it on the space for value of A, the frequency factor. Where do we put the value of k? Also where do we put the units of k, as in the assignment the units of k = 1/seconds and on the tutorial k was unit-less. You also left velocity units empty.
l assume velocity unit = reaction rate units and amount unit = molar concentration units. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Answers:

Here we are neglecting the dependence of E and therefore the rate constant has been assigned completely to the frequency factor.

In case you have experimental data, you can try to place them individually in A and E and see if the result converges.

You don't explicitly enter the unit for k. It is calculated from velocity unit and amount unit. Since the problem statement didn't have any units for k, so the emphasis wasn't given to the velocity unit and amount unit. However, when you have units of k mentioned in the assignment,  velocity and amount units must be mentioned in order to calculate units for k.

Hi,
I can't find the "REACTIONS MANAGER" under Tools \r\ntoolbar. Is it because my DWSIM version is not enough to simulate such \r\nreactions?
Many thanks.
