Question
I've followed the instructions for the control / adjust block but the simulation will not converge.
I keep getting an error message:
"Solver reached the maximum number of iterations without convering. (BubblePoint.vb 1703)"
I tried to adjust the tolerance for the adjust block and even change the SP for the distillate to a lower concentration but I still have had no success.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

The option of "converge/solve with flowsheet solver" is not working currently. Alternatively you can do the following:
1. Uncheck the checkbox against "converge/solve with flowsheet solver"
2. Go to the distillation column and reset the reflux ratio value to 2.317 (the original value of RR)
3. Solve the flowsheet
4. Now click on control block
5. Under control panel, change the step size from 0.1 to 0.01
6. Change the min/max limits to 2.31/2.39
7. Click on Start Adjust

Check the results after few seconds
