Question
I am not able to built the molecule .I am not able to extend the bond from a carbon it either turns into double  bond or a new bond between  C-C is formed .

Dear Mansi,

Please see if you are using Avogadro 2, you have to be careful while drawing the structures in Avogadro2.

Please hold the mouse tightly while drawing the bonds otherwise double bonds will formed by default.
