Please try the below steps:
1. Running Android Studio as administrator
To always run as Administrator, right-click the Android Studio shortcut on the Start menu, click on "More", then "Open File Location", and the file explorer will pop up. Right-click the Android Studio shortcut on the file explorer, go to "Properties", on the properties dialog click on "Advanced" (down there, close to the bottom), and finally, check the "Run as Administrator" checkbox and confirm it.

2. Goto File -> Invalidate caches / Restart

Shutdown Android Studio

Rename/remove .gradle folder in the user home directory

Restart Android Studio

3.There should not be drop in Internet connection while installing and building the First project. Some of the gradle may not be downloaded completely.
