I can not locate the properties tab in the Metadata dialog box. I am using QGIS 3.16 on Ubuntu 18.04.

The properties of the vector layer can be seen in the “Source tab” of Layer properties

Go on Layers panel (left side of the QGIS window) >> Select your Vector file >> Right Click >> Layer Properties >> Source
