You can try using the terminal to open Vlab interface. Use the same commands given for Linux OS
Open the terminal
Go the directory where you have extracted the Vlab.2.1.0, for example if you have downloaded in the "Downloads" directory, type the following commands and press enter after typing each command.

cd Downloads
cd vlab2.1.0
java -jar vlab.jar
