When I close command prompt console (the place where we are typing codes/program) in the Scilab window ...how to reopen without restarting the Scilab?

Why do you need to do this?  What is the problem if you start Scilab again?

By mistake it was closed .... If I open Scilab again it was working fine, but the previous history of commands/programs were gone.. 
I just want to ask, for some reason if it was closed how to get back without opening Scilab  again
