How can I add an external or new CAPE-OPEN unit operation to DWSIM?. And where do you recommend me to serch for CAPE-OPEN mechanical unit operations such as filters?.

Can you be more specific about the type of filter are you talking about? Like DWSIM already has solid-liquid filter. So what filter exactly are you looking at?

If it is not available as a part of DWSIM's list of unit operations, you may create a custom model for it using python and then simulate.
