While installing Moodle in Windows 10 (64 bit), in the XAMPP Control Panel 3.2.4, it is displaying 'Tomcat not found', 'catalina_start.bat, catalina_stop.bat, catalina_service.bat not found'. Please guide me to complete my installation process.

I have seen that. But there, problem with apache is only dealt with. In my case Apache and MySQL are running. It is showing problems with Tomcat.

I tried going through the first link. I found there is no folder made named XAMPP, I saw xampp batch files and exe files in the folder named 'server'. I ran the xampp_start.exe file but in the console, the cursor kept blinking at the same position showing no processes going on. Ran xampp_stop.exe to close it.

I would suggest you to uninstall XAMPP and install it again. Before that check the following:

Try to install a version of XAMPP compatible to your windows system.

Please check your system configuration before installing XAMPP and Moodle.

Check whether the port is occupied by any other application. Otherwise you need to contact your system administrator to fix the issue.

 I have downloaded Moodle 3.10 beta+ installation file from moodle website which came as a zip file for windows. I am using windows 10. XAMPP came in the downloaded zip file. Should I the uninstall moodle and then reinstall it.
During installation it came that my system satisfies the minimum requirements. Moreover ports 80 and 443 are showing against apache. That I suppose is ok.

If you want to follow our tutorial , we would suggest you to install the same version as we have specified in the installation sheet. All the tutorials will work as how we demonstrated.  Follow the exact steps as specified.
