Question
I tried to install optimization toolbox for advanced workshop on 01.10.2020 using atomsInstall(“FOT”) and Module manager-ATOMS. But after reopening of scilab following error is displayed while other toolboxes are working fine:

atomsLoad: An error occurred while loading 'FOT-0.3.1':
    exec: error on line #60: "link: The shared archive was not loaded: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Kindly help me out in resolving this issue.

Answers:

You can install libgfortran4 using the command "sudo apt-get install libgfortran4". This could be required with latest versions of Ubuntu which do not come with libgfortran4.
