Why is the number of cells along x, y and z direction the same for block 1 & 2?

Answers:

The cells along y direction are kept the same for both blocks for uniformity. The number of cells along y axis for both the blocks could be different. However, the cells along x and y directions are kept the same so that the face, shared by the 2 blocks, has the same mesh structure on either side of it. In such cases, the number of cells, expansion ratio etc. need to be kept the same.
