What is the purpose of going into the channel395 directory using the cd channel395 command?

Answers:

OpenFOAM commands such as blockMesh, paraFoam etc. work only from the main case directory. In this tutorial the main OpenFOAM case directory is channel395. Therefore, we need to make channel395 the working directory using the cd channel395 command, before executing the blockMesh command.
