Dear Prof. Kannan,

The convention for any face of a block, when defining the boundary in the "boundary" list of blockMeshDict, should be such that the vertices are ordered clockwise when viewed from inside that block. The statement holds true for any face of the block. Another way of saying this would be "The vertices when viewed from outside the block should be ordered anti-clockwise".

"vertices are ordered clockwise when viewed from inside that block." - Is this statement applicable only while defining walls? But not in  block definition?

Block was defined as hex (0 1 3 2 4 5 7 6).

If above statement is true, then the block definition should be hex(0 2 3 1 4 6 7 5). Please confirm with respect to the vertex numbering shown in the tutorial at time frame 3:39.

However, while defining walls, the above mentioned rule was respected.
