How to recognize positive terminal of LED if both terminal are same in length

If both the terminal of the same length and you are not able to identify the positive terminal, just connect a digital multimeter in Diode testing mode to test LED glow, or if you don't have a digital multimeter and if you can see internal leads of an LED you can identify as shown in the attached figure.

Yes, Chamfered edge is a positive terminal and the flat edge is negative terminal.
