Question
m trying to install freeeda on my linux 15.04 by the steps given in tutorial but it is not getting installed.
when i try to run ./installFreeEDA.sh after extracting the installer file on desktop.. terminal says no such root ordirectory found... please help..

Does ./installFreeEDA.sh run successfully ?

By the way we are releasing new flow of Oscad/FreeEDA which is now known as eSim.

installed it as prescribed in the readme file over the link you suggested but its not sgetting started..

If you do not get any error while running eSim installer script then you should be able to run it.

Please go to terminal and type esim and hit enter and do let me know the output.

Other ways to manually run the esim is as follows.

1. cd  /opt/eSim/src/frontEnd
2. python Application.py

Do let me know if you find any difficulties and error.

it got installed.. now when i write esim in terminal it shows following error..
avinash@avinash-HP-14-Notebook-PC:~$ esim
/usr/bin/esim: line 3: cd: /opt/eSim/src/frontEnd: No such file or directory
python: can't open file 'Application.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

and if i try to run it by double clicking on icon created at desktop i cant as that is unresponsive..
