Dear sir

I want to import moodle database in Ubantu14.04.Size of Database is more than 1 GB.I tried to Import but unable to complete due to script timeout error.

I made changes in my php.ini file(post_max_size,upload_max_size,Execution time) as I google this.but not worked for me.

please anyone did this before.let me know step by step process to do this.

Are you trying to moodle course import or Moodle mysql database import?

Moodle database import , login to the Ubuntu machine and follow the command

mysqldump -u root -p <database name> > database-backup.sql

If you are facing issue in the course import from the moodle. the timeout is due to your dns/reverse proxy.
