At 2:40 - Tri color led common anode and common cathode is explained. You can identify with the connection to ground / positive voltage.

At 7:30 - Seven segment display common anode and common cathode is explained. On one side of the seven segment component, it will be specified as CC for common cathode or CA for common cathode.
