Title
Question
I am a PhD student at Federal University of Technology (UTFPR), Parana, Brazil (<a href="www.utfpr.edu.br" target="_blank" title="">www.utfpr.edu.br</a>).

I would like to solve the problem below:

Using fft command into SciLab, how can I get an absolute real number in output? (The phase result doesn't matter for my investigation). I am trying to multiply the fft result by 2/N, N=size(t,'*'), t=time vector.

The calculated result manually is 5.125 (I know this is correct), but using Scilab and the methodology above, the result is: 6.3679274.

How can I fix this problem? What am I doing wrong?

Answers:

Dear Andre,

Can you please share the .sce file (Scilab code) being used to generate this result, along with the data?

I have replied to your e-mail earlier, you can send me the code on the same e-mail address.
