I installed it on my laptop but when I tried the website localhost...it shows that there is a error. how can i know which version is required on my device?</span>

Answers:

Make sure the Xampp is running. Stop and start the service. 

If you are getting any error, Please refer to the below sheet and fix the error. Then proceed further as shown in the installation tutorial.
